Families for International Children CARES

FFIC is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The United Nations estimates that there are approximately 143 million orphans worldwide, with that number rising each year. FFIC believes that all children deserve a loving family but know that it is not always possible. We desire to raise educated and conscientious children who understand the benefits of giving back to those who are less fortunate than they are. FFIC frequently shows its support for orphans and vulnerable children of the world through financial contributions, clothing, supply and food drives and service projects. We highlight the needs of orphans and vulnerable children and also encourage our members to support these children through various affiliations with reputable charitable organizations.

HOLIDAY PARTY
Each year at our FFIC Holiday Party we collect donations of clothing, shoes, over-the-counter medical supplies and other items to donate to orphanages through local adoption agencies. These supplies have been delivered to orphans around the world!

THE GREAT WALL OF JUICE BOXES
Each year Heritage Campers are invited to build the Great Wall of juice boxes during camp week. The 100% fruit juice boxes are then donated to Kids Food Basket www.kidsfoodbasket.org to be added to healthy sack suppers for nutritionally vulnerable children in the Grand Rapids area. Teen Campers have served by assembling the sack suppers at Kids Food Basket.
